The cable car in Flims Laax takes you directly up to the huge ski area with 5 snow parks and 29 lifts . Most of it lies at an altitude of over 2,000 meters – making Flims Laax one of the most snow-sure areas in Switzerland .
Whether beginner or pro: everyone will find their happy place on the perfectly groomed slopes. And before you set off, take a moment to enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains.
Tip: We had a ski instructor for two mornings and that was so good for the kids and for us, because then we could concentrate only on ourselves.
Those who want to recharge their batteries in between will find two of the more than 30 restaurants in the ski area directly at the GALAAXY mountain station .
2. Sledding with a magnificent panorama
From the Nagens mountain station, a thrilling 1.5 km long toboggan run leads down to Scansinas. We especially love it because of the breathtaking panorama of the Grisons mountains.
We usually whiz down several times in a row before stopping at one of the cozy huts along the route – ideal for enjoying a syrup or hot cocoa on the terrace with the sun on our faces.
3. Night sledding from Tegia Larnags
Even dinner at the rustic Tegia Larnags is an experience – a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a breathtaking view. It's a short walk from the piazza to the hut, taking about 30 minutes.
The highlight awaits afterwards: A ride down the night slope on a toboggan or sled – for our kids the absolute highlight of their last winter holiday!
Tip: Be sure to try the Pizokels or Capuns – they're so delicious!
4. Indoor action at the Freestyle Academy
Anyone who needs a break from the snow (or has kids who still have energy left) should definitely visit the Freestyle Academy at the Stenna Center .
Here, children (and the young at heart!) can jump on trampolines, practice jumps on the airbag, or ride scooters and skateboards over obstacles.
New are wooden skis and snowboards with felt undersides – perfect for practicing balance and movement for the next ski course.
For ambitious skaters , ROCKSRESORT House M also offers a bowl, halfpipe and a street skate area.
