Allow me to introduce myself, this is Boma . Boma? Never heard of it? Okay, let us briefly explain the name :-)
As you know, our travels are the inspiration for our Roadtyping products , and this lovely new throw blanket got its name in South Africa . "Boma" is the South African name for the " circle around the fire ," which originally served to protect South Africa's wildlife.
When we were in South Africa in the summer, we had a " Boma Fire " at almost every lodge and sat around it either in the evenings before or after dinner, or while grilling. And since we were there during the German summer, which is the South African winter, it always got chilly in the evenings, so we snuggled up in our cozy blankets by the Boma fire.
That's how the new purple, sage, and coral-colored throw blanket got its name. The surfboards in its design are also a perfect fit for South Africa, whose coastline boasts some truly excellent surf spots .
